Welcome to the Subject Guide for Health and Social Care. This guide provides an introduction to HSC resources available via the Library.

Books

To search for books and eBooks you can use Library Search. Library Search is a tool which enables you to search the library catalogue and other resources (e.g. journal or newspaper articles, reports) in one simple search.

If the library doesn't have a book you need, you can either:

Articles

A great starting point to find articles is Library Search. This is a tool which enables you to search the library catalogue and other resources (e.g. journal or newspaper articles, reports) in one simple search.

To start your search for articles start with the Articles search on Library Search.

If you need to explore the literature further and undertake a comprehensive search, the following key databases can be used to begin a comprehensive search of Health & Social Care literature.
