The Library received all Ph.D. and M.Phil. theses and M.Sc. (Regulation 3.5.) theses up to 30 September 2016. After this date all theses are kept in the University of Essex Research Repository. We do not normally get dissertations and theses connected with other degrees - the exception being LL.Ms. Theses are kept in Store and must be consulted in the Library only.
Fill in a form at the Library Helpdesk or use the online Store request form to ask for a thesis from store. N.B. You can see as many theses as you wish but we usually limit this to no more than 3 at any one time.
If you are looking for a specific thesis you can search Encore for the author or title.
If you want to find an Essex thesis on a particular topic, search by thesis and your chosen keywords. To limit your results try using the 'collection' 'Essex theses' or 'University of Essex Research Repository'.
