The following is a preliminary list of papers which belonged to Enid and Michael Balint, and which were donated to the Library in 1999. Lists which deal with correspondence are, at present, minimal in content and further work remains to be done on them.

Persons consulting the Balint Papers will note that some items, for example in the files of correspondence, are of a personal or confidential nature. The normal conventions of confidentiality should be observed and, where relevant, the permission of authors should be obtained before quoting from their correspondence and papers.
